Family
Family is the basic fabric of society.It is very important for us to have a happiness family. But there is some disagreement between family and career.One of my foreign teacher Kate said that the most difference of Chinese and American is they think in different way.She took the family and career for example,she think Chinese care about career more than family,while American are the way around.
In a family,love is vital.But through the discussion we held in intensive reading class, we realize the responsibility is more important for a family.In some measure it is the responsibility make the family go further and further. Love is a kind of feeling ,it means care.Responsibility is a kind of awareness,it means action.Learn to love ,first we must be responsible for ourselves.Then for your lover and also nuclear and extensive family members.You can not free without any limitation.Only within limitation can you gain freedom that will last long.Just because the people you loved or the one love you whatever happen in next minute,you will always feel confident and sunny.The responsibility can hold you to the end of your life ,wherever you are.
The generation gap in a family is obvious.The old think the young are foolish ,naive and obedient. The young think the old are conservative and bossy. This is inevitable even between person and person. But we can narrow the gap through the communication. To add dialogue with family member,to cherish what we already have owed and to be open to new things in a proper degree are good ways to solve this kind of conflicts.
Family is important to society ,so care about the society from your family .The social problems caused by little family affairs.

Do you want to be a hero
Yesterday we finished the lesson "The man in the water",and we discussed something of hero ,what can make a hero.
I think a hero must first be an ordinary person ,he do the things like erery ordinary man does.Hero has his own strong points,but also shorcomings.We do not think there are as many heroes in society as before .That is because we are too picky in defining a hero ,we think hero should be perfect all the time.
This is a dictation about hero we had in class,I think we can learn something from it:Everybody has a hero in his mind at one time or other .It's often applied to ordinary people who saves someone from a burning house at the risk of his own life,for example.Then,the principal character of a novel or a film is known as the hero of a story,even if he is not particularly brave,but heroes are also the giants,the out-of-ordinary figures whose superiority fills our hearts with admiration and awe;The men and women who give us a high example to follow, a purpose in life ,or sometimes just a dream,because they represent the person that we should like to be,the desire to be worthy of them could bring out the best in their admirers.Hero are needed everywhere,at any time.It is a sad sky that has no shining stars.
And the teacher tell us 4 kinds of the heroism:1Revolutionaries to die martyrs.
2True believer to be willing to die fo their faith.
3Lay down their life in performing their duty.
4Show courage in their attempt to win power,influence,money or to save their loved ones.
